Prayer

The Church is open from 2-3pm every Thursday for quiet prayer.

Due to government COVID restrictions, the wearing of a face covering is required, sanitisers are available for use at the door, and social distancing measures are being respected. If you do not have a face covering, masks are available at the door.

If you would like to send a prayer request to the Eldwick Church this will be passed on  anonymously to our prayer team. Please contact prayer@eldwickchurch.org.uk.

Prayer Lawn
During the summer months our church lawn turned into a prayer field where members of the Eldwick community were invited to take a crafted flower from the basket on the front wall and plant it as a prayer for themselves, their family or friends.

The flowers have now been constructed into a trellis attached to the yew tree in order to clear space for our remembrance day poppies.

The Prayer Jesus taught us

Our Father who art in heaven

Hallowed be thy Name

Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

Forgive us our trespasses

As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory

For ever and ever

Amen
